This is a call for any interested groups to register their interest which will allow Leitrim Community Forum to identify areas around the county to run this free training.

To register your group, please contact Leitrim Community Forum support worker at the Depot office in Dromahair at 071 913 4986, 10-2pm, Monday to Friday, or e-mail leitrimcommunityforum@gmail.com for further details.

The purpose of the new website is to give a wider platform for the activities of Leitrim Community Forum and its member groups, and the new website will also provide a place where all community groups in Leitrim, from Active Age Groups, Sports related groups, Youth groups, etc can all post information which would be of interest.

Leitrim Community Forum are appealing to all our Leitrim community groups and Forum members to subscribe to the website, for example to regularly publicise local events such as Festivals, Agricultural Shows, Charity events and hundreds of other items too numerous to mention.

The Website can only be kept alive and of interest by being continuously updated by YOUR input of suitable material.

Training sessions will be delivered throughout the county for interested groups provided the group is registered with Leitrim Community Forum and there are sufficient numbers interested to justify the expenditure. The training will be on how to add information from their organisations to the new wordpress-driven website. Each participant organisation affiliated to the forum will be issued with log-in details for the site, allowing them to post information (about their organisation, its news, and events) which will be reviewed by a moderator (Leitrim Community Forum Committee Member) and their submitted information will then be added to the website. This WordPress driven website was chosen by Leitrim Community Forum as it is very user friendly and only requires a basic knowledge of computers.
