On Monday, 22nd June 2008 we crossed the finishing line in brilliant sunshine after completing the 10k Flora Women’s Mini Marathon.

Our time was one hour 47 minutes.

To date we have raised approximately €1500 in aid of The Irish Cancer Society.Our sincere thanks to everybody for your generous donations and we appreciate your support. All the money goes towards Cancer Research.

We walked this Marathon in memory of our beloved Seamus, who passed way over two years ago from a year long battle with Pancreatic Cancer. It was an extremely sad time for us all, but despite his ordeal, Seamus fought his illness with such strength and bravery. He was, and always will be our Shining Light. We miss him every day.
