Hello from the USA,
My Dad, Felix Clancy 1913-2009 who was from glenfarne and lived on the family farm in menkeeragh, just passsed away at 96. I am doing a diary about his life and have a lot of great stories for he was a great man. I remember him talking about working for the forestry dept. planting trees around 1930's to 1940's but I never wrote down the name of this place. Would anyone know what this place was called?
Thank you for any help or website referances

Just searching the net and thought I would pay a visit to my family's home village. Great to see a picture of my great aunt Sissy who used to run the pub but which is now run by her son Ben and his wife Sue. Love this part of the world. Living in Witham Essex UK now
